drifter92 :
BTW I saw another bug on one of the IROC screens.
FM3 fails...

Polished from a distance, but when yo go close up...you realise it's just turd...only polished.

added through 3 minutes

Not to mention the utter wrongess (yes, it is a word, because I say so) of the lighting in the pic of the '70 Firebird.
I also see modeling / lighting errors on the WS6. Small, but plenty.

And all the tires look like gray plastic from a Made-in-China 2 cent die-cast...

added through 1 minute

Damage looks wrong too...

added through 15 seconds

And the biggest fail of all - Console

added through 41 seconds

Yeah, I'll stick with SLRR. Even that has better looking cars and physics

well, overall its a great game.. and there are many fun options.. for instance u can do an engine swap on almost all cars with v8 to a NASCAR engine.. its very fun, but the cars are really hard to controll, but if u concentrate then u can manage it.. i did the swap on a z28 today..

The more I look at screenshots of this game, the sh*ttier it looks. Mainly the textures. I see lots of single color "textures" with not even a hint of detail. In the IROC pictures posted earlier, the taillights were squares all colored red, orange, or white, no hint of lens detail, just colored squares. Look at the little red Miata, the front marker lamps in the bumper are just plain white blobs. WTF? Default SLRR cars have more detailed textures than this. FFS look at the fog lamps on the front of the IROC, gray rectangles! There's more detail in the tracks than the damn cars!

Oh man, bought this yesterday and got hang of it today. I jizzed in my pants cause of this game, the driveability is incredible. The physics etc is fantastic. GT5 must upgrade a shitload from prologue to match up with F3.

Yeah that's what i said too. I'm totally happy when i play this with a controller on a 32" flat screen telly. I don't need a fucking fullhd 88" screen and a projector to enjoy myself with a video game. I made a TT V8 Focus svt conversion, jesus, even without all the possible mods it's fucken nuts love the sound <3 and i said to my pal that this i probably the first driving game ever where a fwd car is fun to drive on a track. Fuck the nubmer of the cars u never use, it's about the driving.

So? I think people is just pissed of because in GT you can't do things like this. And before someone says it's still "unrealistic" i may remind you that no one forces you to do engine swaps, sure you can just turbo them etc. But i do it because I CAN.

Chris, would you rather have nice flashy interior and the car handling like an arcade shit or a simulation with a little bit less textured interior? I mean you probably don't even notice that the interior is missing some textures if you're driving from that view and doing 200kmh ?

Neither do I. I use a Saitek Rumble Force P2500.

I can agree with both points on "the feeling of driving" vs. graphics quality. But come on, these are supposed to be "next gen" games. IMO, FM3 should look better than it does. That yellow Audi's doors look like sh*t. The interior textures look like sh*t. All the cars' lights look like nothing more than red, orange, and white boxes. FFS Shift has better car detail than this!

Holy sh*t! They stuffed a Ford Mod motor in it?? Wow, it doesn't surprise me there were alterations to the engine bay, those are big damn engines! They barely fit in a Mustang! For the uninformed, "Mod motor" means "Modular motor", and is the term given to the engine generation designed to be built with any even number of cylinders from a 2-cyl. and up. Ford's truck V6, all current gasoline V8s, and the V10s are all built on the modular architecture.
