Hi all! Firstly thank you all the members that keep this awesome game alive!, i started playing SL since version 1.0 but I forgot it for years and when one more time wanted to play it i find all this suppor, cars, tracks, addons...AWESOME!
I used the Forum Search for not open another topic of the same content but can´t find it and it´s very simple what i´m finding... Anyone know how can i get any car CHROME painted?? Regards! |

you can't get chrome paint. you can only get a chrome effect by adjusting the material reflection in max.

its ugly thats why, plus with bad reflections and a white color you can get this same effect

There's 2 ways to do it.
1. Re-export all the car's body meshes with increased reflection amount. 2. Create a reflection texture that gives cars a ridiculous amount of shine. The second way is not the best or most effective way, but it's probably the easiest. added through 43 seconds Damn, you guys beat me to it, lol! yeah i really think oncee i try this i don´t like it anymore but want to do it....because it´s only a try, anyone can tell me where to find a reflection texture to do this?

download the RS4 and then paint it white, you'll get your chrome effect

EEEEEEEEEEEWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!! Every time I see a full-chrome car, it reminds me of that Napa commercial with the guys from OCC where they bring out the full-chrome Napa truck, lol. I tried to find a vid of it cuz it's funny as hell, but no luck.
